Wavemaker wins De’Longhi in North America

The assignment also covers the Braun and Kenwood kitchen appliance brands.

Selected following a competitive review, GroupM’s Wavemaker will handle paid media and communications planning for Italian appliance company De’Longhi in North America.

The assignment includes media activities in Canada and the U.S., and covers the parent brand’s high-end coffee appliances and toaster ovens, Braun kitchen appliances and Kenwood mixers and food processors.

The agency’s first work on the brand will be providing North American support for a global campaign behind De’Longhi one-touch espresso machines, which stars Brad Pitt and launched today.

The company was looking to consolidate its media assignment in markets where it sees growth potential. Over the last year, De’Longhi has been particularly focused on launching new espresso machine models into the North American market, where it has seen demand for premium coffee beverages rise.
