Global programs dominate national ratings: Numeris

9-1-1, NCIS, CSI: Vegas and Survivor continue to bring big ratings for the Corus network.

Three dramas and a long-running reality competition are continuing to bring big rating to Corus this fall, according to Numeris data for the week of Oct. 11 to 17.

Global programs – 9-1-1, NCIS, CSI: Vegas and Survivor, in that order – were the four best-rated of the week, each earning over 1.7 million viewers nationally and 9-1-1 reaching 1.865 million. CTV’s The Good Doctor rounded out the top five.

While TVA’s adaptation of The Masked Singer continued to top the ratings for Francophone viewers, Radio-Canada comedy Discussions avec mes parents managed to bump dance competition show Revolution out of the number two spot.

Regionally, Survivor managed to take the top spot in Toronto/Hamiltion, narrowly beating out the Toronto Maple Leafs’ season opener against the Montreal Canadiens. Hockey was tops in Edmonton, however, with the Oilers’ season debut edging out CSI.
