Havas Media adds two new VPs

With the new hires, the agency expands its capabilities in emerging platforms and digital-first strategies.

 

alessia_headshot[21]Havas Media Group (HMG) Canada added to its senior ranks, hiring two new VPs.

Alessia Grosso was hired as VP strategy, while Scott Nelson takes on the newly created role of VP, investment and partnerships. Both Grosso and Nelson will report to HMG Canada president Noah Vardon.

With a background in gaming, Grosso will lead HMG’s strategy department, developing client solutions for existing and emerging platforms. Grosso joins the agency from Enthusiast Gaming, where she led North American marketing operations and received recognition as one of Business Insider‘s Top Women in Gaming and Esports.

Before that, Grosso served as director of strategy at Cossette Media, where she led strategy for clients across verticals including telcom, CPG, retail, cannabis, and government. In addition to CMA and MIA award wins, her work has also been recognized at Cannes.

scott_headshot_bw[95]Nelson brings over 10 years of experience in media, most recently leading the digital investment practice at Dentsu for more than six years. In that role, he focused on creating cross-channel integrations using a data-led consumer-centric approach. Prior to that he was with ZenithOptimedia and Cossette Media.
