Horizon picks new head of investment

One of several recent promotions, Jenny Croswell expands her remit to include cross-media deals and agency operations.

Horizon Media Canada has recently promoted a number of its employees as part of its growth strategy.

Leading the new appointments is Jenny Croswell, who has been promoted to EVP, head of investment and agency operations. Continuing to report to general manager Kevin Kivi and overseeing all client investments, Croswell’s remit has expanded to put a greater focus on cross-media deals and data led integrations with key partners. She also assumes responsibility for agency operations, systems, tools and processes.

Croswell has been with the agency for nearly four years as SVP, activation and trading.

Other promotions include the move of Matthew Bailey and Cobi Zhang, both formerly directors of media investment and activation, to vice president roles in the same function.

In addition, Robyn Van Driel has been promoted to associate director of business solutions. Van Driel previously held senior positions with Initiative Media and Mediacom before signing on with Horizon in 2018.

The promotions come as Horizon continues with its Canadian growth strategy, which included the opening of an Edmonton office last year and winning the Alberta Blue Cross business. In the summer, it also hired Caroline Bergeron to further develop its digital and data solutions.
