Provincial and federal governments top radio charts: Media Monitors

In Montreal, responsible drinking advocacy group Edu'alcool held the top spot again.

The Government of Ontario took the top spot among radio advertisers for the week of Feb. 14 to Feb. 20.

The provincial government had 1421 radio spots in Toronto last week, moving from third to first in the list of most active advertisers. The federal government had the second most ads, while PC Optimum jumped onto the top 10 list with the third-most ads.  Meanwhile, Speedy Glass, maintained fourth place again this week and Toyota Dealer Association made a new appearance on the list with the fifth most ads in Toronto.

In Montreal, responsible drinking advocacy group Edu’alcool kept the top radio advertising spot, while the Government of Canada remained second, and the Government of Quebec also maintained the third spot. PC Optimum also jumped onto the Montreal charts with the fourth most ads.

Categorically, financial services, government, and consumer services had the biggest presence on Toronto radio, while government, public service, and car and truck dealers were the most active in Montreal.
