Sharethrough names CMO to support expansion push

Ben Skinazi has been tasked with solidifying the exchange's presence across North America and Europe.

Sharethrough has promoted Ben Skinazi to the new position of chief marketing officer, the first for the Montreal-based programmatic omnichannel ad exchange.

Skinazi has been with District M company since day one, having helped found it and lead its sales team. He was most recently SVP of marketing and communications, where he led the strategies following District M’s merger with Sharethrough early last year.

Going forward, Skinazi will be responsible for driving the marketing of company’s omnichannel offering as it works to solidify its presence across North America and Europe. His appointment follows the independent company’s expansion into Europe earlier this month and the naming of Richard Ottoy as general manager, EMEA.

While headquartered in Montreal, Sharethrough has offices across North America, including San Francisco and New York City, as well as its new UK office in London.

In addition to its international growth, Sharethrough has been investing heavily both into its expertise in video ads as well as pivoting that expertise into connected TV.
