Blue Ant goes prehistoric for latest Animalogic spin-off

The company is growing its YouTube and TikTok ad opportunities with Paleologic as the franchise expands its fan base.

Blue Ant is further expanding its multi-platform digital offering on YouTube with the launch of its latest series, Paleologic, which takes a deep look at the past and the animals that lived in it.

Paleologic, hosted by Talia Lowi-Merri, a PhD candidate and paleontologic researcher at the Royal Ontario Museum, is the third spin-off of Blue Ant’s popular international series Animalogic, which has 1.64 million YouTube subscribers. Last year, Blue Ant launched two spin-offs on YouTube, Birds Unknown and Floralogic.

To date, Animalogic has had 300 million video views and 20 million hours watched across YouTube, Snapchat Discover and TikTok. Its community of over 2.6 million fans is also growing, with subscribers up 73% in the last year. The series also draws high interaction from viewers with over 450,000 comments on Animalogic’s YouTube page.

Brands including HelloFresh, KiwiCo, MagellenTV, BetterHelp and Pela have signed on to reach the Animalogic fanbase. The franchise, including Paleologic and Floralogic, is available for sponsorship primarily on YouTube and TikTok, typically in the form of a 45- to 60-second integration into an episode with pinned comments and promo links, or a dedicated longer-form brand video. On TikTok, the integration opp is 15-seconds with a spot running up to 60 seconds.
