The Home Depot keeps up a big buy: Media Monitors

The Home Depot is continuing its summer push on the airwaves, according to Media Monitors data for the week of June 13 to 19.

The home improvement retailer maintained its spot as the most active radio advertiser in Toronto, while keeping its number two spot in Montreal.

Elsewhere in Toronto, the Toyota Dealer Association began a new radio push in second, with Virgin Plus jumping up slightly to third, President’s Choice dropping a spot to fourth and Fido maintaining its fifth-place spot.

Bell boosted a radio buy behind its wireless services to become the most active advertiser in Montreal. Fido was once again third, while McDonald’s and Bon C Bon jumped up to fourth and fifth, respectively.

Categorically, banks, QSRs and automakers were the most active advertisers in Toronto, with automakers, wireless carriers and insurance companies the most active in Montreal.
