Intuit has picked Publicis Media’s Zenith to be the media planning agency of record for TurboTax and Intuit QuickBooks in Canada.

The agency was selected following a pitch led by Jared Aldridge, VP of connections planning at Publicis Media. The new strategy uses the ROI growth platform Zenith has been positioning its offering around the year, and is focused heavily on first-party data. For Intuit, the strategy has been designed to help the company reach their customers where they are, and help even more Canadians take advantage of Intuit’s suite of products.

Exact plans have not been confirmed yet, but Intuit expects a variety of media formats to be used.

Canadian media buying for many TurboTax and QuickBooks campaigns in recent years have been handled by Camelot and Hearts & Science, respectively, as part of their U.S. assignments (though buying for QuickBooks in the U.S. was moved to Initiative last fall).

Intuit is a global technology platform whose other financial products include Mint and Credit Karma.
