The World Financial Group Agency of Canada (WFGIAC) is renewing its sponsorship of the 2022 Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling. The organization is the sole sponsor in the Life Insurance category.
The series is comprised of six events that begin Oct. 4 and $2.1 million in prize money is awarded throughout the curling season.
The sponsorship gives WFGIAC several in-venue branding opportunities, such as ad placements on the event boards and in-ice, plus expanded exposure for the brand throughout the 2022-23 Grand Slam season. In addition to season sponsorship opportunities, WFGIAC will serve as title sponsor for the World Financial Group Masters curling event, set to take place Dec. 6 to 11 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
Along with its in-venue opportunities, WFGIAC receives commercial spots during the live national TV coverage of the Grand Slam and targeted digital ad units. Sportsnet has had exclusive broadcast rights to the Grand Slam of Curling since purchasing it in 2012.
