MiQ appoints new SVP of commercial operations in Canada

Rebecca Shropshire has over 25 years of experience in the media and marketing space.

Programmatic marketing company MiQ has appointed Rebecca Shropshire as SVP of its commercial operations in Canada. In her new role, Shropshire will work along the SVP of commercial to drive the unified commercial operations strategy in the Canadian market, driving further alignment among MiQ’s sales, account management and trading departments.

Shropshire will be reporting into Joe Peters, managing director of MiQ Canada. Peters says the executive will support the convergence of various parts of the business.

“As media continues to digitize, marketers are presented with a myriad of new opportunities to achieve their business goals,” says Shropshire, adding that she now will aim to drive results for MiQ’s partners with holistic, proactive and innovative solutions.

Shropshire has been involved in programmatic since its infancy in Canada during her 25 years of experience in the media and marketing space. Most recently, she was head of agency development at Meta.
