Corus secures nine sponsors for Big Brother Canada

SharkNinja, Circle K, Brita and HelloFresh join a host of returning brand partners.

Global has nabbed nine major sponsors for the eleventh season of Big Brother Canada, the most it has ever had for a single season.

The new sponsors are home appliance company SharkNinja, Circle K, Brita and HelloFresh, which join returning sponsors Wendy’s, Winners, Philips Sonicare and Belairdirect. The ninth sponsor will be revealed as an in-show surprise.

Wendy’s involvement in the show includes sponsoring the house’s pantry and in-show integration with custom gameplay tasks. The returning brand is also sponsor of the “After the Eviction Interview.” Winners will once again be dressing the house guests in brand name and designer fashions and will award the season 11 winner a $10,000 wardrobe.

Philips Sonicare is back for a second year, stocking the Big Brother house with Philips Sonicare Power Toothbrushes and Philips Sonicare Power Flossers, in addition to being featured in a custom challenge. Fellow returning sponsor Belairdirect will be offering eviction protection insurance, which allows fans to cast votes online to save their favourite house guest from eviction, and will feature in a home and auto insurance custom challenge.

As part of the grand prize, new sponsor SharkNinja – known for its Shark line of vacuums and Ninja brand of kitchen products – will present the winner with $10,000 worth of products, in addition to being involved in a custom challenge and having its products stocked in the Big Brother house. Circle K is sponsoring the Circle K Snack Wall in the house and will be involved in a quiz-based custom challenge. The brand is also introducing the Circle K Snack Haul, where fans can vote via social media for a special bag of snacks to be given to one hungry house guest.

Brita, another new sponsor, is providing each house guest with a personalized Brita filtering water bottle and will also be involved in a custom challenge and social media extension. The fourth new sponsor, HelloFresh, is stocking the house with a variety of easy-to-cook recipes inside a branded HelloFresh fridge.

The surprise ninth sponsor is joining Big Brother Canada for the first time and will be revealed in-show at a later date.

Big Brother Canada had an average audience of 861,200 during its 10th season last year, with a peak of 1.02 million for the season premiere. It was Corus’ most-viewed original production in 2022 and second overall across networks, behind Bell Media’s Amazing Race Canada. Season 11 will premiere on March 8.
