In February, Active International announced it had hired Carat’s Caroline Breton to launch and lead a new media agency offering in Canada.
Now, the company has revealed that agency will be Involved Media, which is expanding to the Canadian market.
Involved Media is already an established agency brand in the U.S. and Australia, where its clients have included Tom’s, Softsoap, Mucinex, Irish Spring, Colgate and Tetley.
Led by Breton as its managing director, Involved Media Canada is built around what it calls an “egoless experience” that offers unbiased advice based on results. It will be focused on working with mid-market brands, as well as global brands seeking local media expertise in Canada. It will partner with independent Canadian agencies seeking a media partner, which it has already done with the likes of Bob’s Your Uncle, BTI Brand Innovations and APT.
“Working within the Active ecosystem and their already established reputation and resources puts Involved Media in a fantastic position to provide incredible service and results to clients,” Breton said, referring to Active International’s reputation of global operations and business of over $1 billion every year.
Establishing and expanding its existing media planning services as its own offering, Active International will continue to offer its corporate trade and trade media buying services as a separate division.
