As this year’s NCAA basketball tournaments begin, Bell Media has secured a pair of sponsors that will be featured across TSN’s coverage.
Expedia is returning as a sponsor, having first signed on with TSN for the 2021 edition of March Madness. It will be joined by new sponsor Amazon Prime, with both brands featured prominently across TSN platforms throughout the length of both the men’s and women’s tournaments.
TSN’s broadcast coverage began on Tuesday with the men’s “First Four,” determining which teams will claim the remaining four spots in this year’s tournament, and continues until the championship game on April 3. The women’s “First Four” begins on Wednesday, with TSN’s coverage continuing until the championship on April 2.
TSN’s Kate Beirness and Daniel Zakrzewski will host TSN’s coverage alongside analysts Jack Armstrong, Leo Rautins and two-time NCAA champion Kia Nurse. Outside of the games, analysis, interviews and other content will be aired on Sportscentre, The Shift and TSN’s social media accounts.
Online, TSN subscribers have access to a Multiplex video player allowing them to watch multiple tournament games at once. The TSN website will also feature Armstrong and Nurse highlighting key storylines from the tournament’s Canadian players, in addition to up-to-the-minute news and highlights.
Between the men’s and women’s tournaments, there are 53 Canadians playing in the championships this year, an all-time high.
