Cogeco Media has made a promotion on its media sales team, naming Annick Bertrand director of national sales.

In her new role at the company, Bertrand will oversee all media sales activity across Cogeco’s radio and digital properties across Canada.

Bertrand joined Cogeco Media in the fall as director of digital sales, coming off of nearly seven years in sales roles at Quebecor Media.

To fill Bertrand’s previous role, Cogeco has hired another Quebecor Media alum. Alicia Boulet has been hired as director of digital sales, tasked with developing and growing that side of the company’s business.

Boulet had previously been with Quebecor Media for three years as a digital account director.

Last year, Cogeco Media struck an agreement to be the exclusive representative for programmatic company MiQ in the Quebec market.
