Following double-digit growth last year, Spark Foundry Canada has given elevated roles to six members of its strategy and planning team.

Leading the promotions are media planning supervisors Claire Ringenbach and Maddie Ellepola, who have been named strategy managers at the agency. Ringenbach, who has been with Spark Foundry for five years, will work on the agency’s Groupe Bel, Bombardier, Logitech and Enbridge accounts. Ellepola, who joined in 2021, will work on the Sports Interaction and Unikrn accounts.

Both new managers have been tasked with leading and developing strategies for their brands, overseeing the management of their clients and their team’s evolution.

Elsewhere at the agency, media planner Varun Pillai has been named senior planner on the Smucker’s, Brown Forman, and Combe, while Penny Pensotes has been promoted to fill his previous role on the same accounts. Fab Orejarena has been promoted to supervisor on the Starbucks and Under Armour accounts, while Alex Ratcliff has been named named a planner on Starbucks.
