Pelmorex launches self-serve ad tool

The company is looking to broaden its local ad business on The Weather Network and MétéoMédia.

Pelmorex has made a self-serve tool to make digital advertising with The Weather Network and MétéoMédia more widely accessible

Developed with Montreal technology company M32 Connect, the Advertising Studio features a full suite of media buying, planning, campaign management, targeting, creation and measurement capabilities. Ads can be bought at the local, regional and national level.

While the tool is widely accessible, it is geared towards opening up advertising on The Weather Network and MétéoMédia to more small- and medium-sized advertisers.

“Our primary objective is to simplify the lives of local businesses by providing them with a tool that allows them to advertise on our platforms, connect with a large-scale audience and succeed in today’s competitive advertising landscape,” says Jean-Paul Sclapari, head of sales and partnerships for MétéoMédia.

According to Pelmorex, The Weather Network is accessed by 27 million users nationally.
