Blue Ant Media has been busy making multi-platform deals, including the launch of two FAST channels, Homeful and Love Pets, on Vizio’s WatchFree+ service.
Homeful is the free streaming host to over 200 hours of renovation celebrity Mike Holmes’ library of original series and specials. These FAST channels join Blue Ant’s Love Nature, Haunt TV and Drag Race Universe on WatchFree+, a streaming service that comes pre-loaded on Vizio’s TVs.
In addition, Blue Ant International has inked multi-platform agreements with partners that include A+E Networks. This deal includes co-production of the real estate series Lakefront Luxury and the acquisition of the show’s existing two seasons. A+E Networks has also secured 10 episodes of The Killer in My Family, a series that examines crime through the lens of the murderer’s family members.
Smithsonian Channel has licensed Blue Ant’s The Black West: A Counter History of the Wild West, a documentary that retells history from a fresh, untold perspective. The channel has also renewed its right to 8 Days That Made Rome, a series that explores the series of events culminating in the end of Rome’s republic. Smithsonian has also acquired the rights to Ireland’s Wild Islands. The series is currently in production in Ireland’s isolated outposts, including its most northern island, Inishtrahull.
Finally, True Royalty TV has expanded its partnership with Blue Ant with the purchase of 14 titles that include renewals and fresh content such as the documentaries Christmas at Stately Homes, Queen’s Coronation in Colour, The Diana Interview: Revenge of A Princess and Harry and Meghan: Two Troubled Years.
