Sportsnet has detailed plans for its tenth season as the English broadcaster of the NHL in Canada.
The schedule includes more than 155 national games during the regular season, which includes its three flagship programs: 31 Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey broadcasts, 27 Rogers Monday Night Hockey broadcasts and 100 Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts.
Along with its national broadcast nights, Sportsnet will also air more than 190 regional games as the official regional TV and streaming broadcast partner of the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs.
Sportsnet’s broadcast season begins on Oct. 11, with opening night games between the Montreal Canadians and Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators and Carolina Hurricanes, Winnipeg Jets and Calgary Flames, and Edmonton Oilers against the Vancouver Canucks.
In addition to regular season games, Sportsnet is the exclusive national broadcaster of a number of other NHL special events, including the 2023 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic, the 2024 Discover NHL Winter Classic, the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, the 2024 NHL All-Star Skills, the 2024 Rogers NHL All-Star Game and the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs and 2024 Stanley Cup Final.
Channel allocations for individual matchups and start times will be announced on a week-by-week basis. Details of more than 150 games between U.S. teams will be announced in the coming weeks.
