KO Média has named new editorial leadership for its three most-read beauty and lifestyle publications.

Joanna Fox has been named editor-in-chief of Elle Canada and Elle Québec, having previously been Elle Canada’s associate editor. Théo Dupuis-Carbonneau, who previously led Elle Canada’s health and beauty content, has been named editor-in-chief for Véro, the namesake magazine for Quebec media personality Véronique Cloutier.

Fox and Dupuis-Carbonneau take over duties previously held by Joanie Pietracupa, who was named editor-in-chief of Elle Québec and Véro in 2017 before adding the same duties for Elle Canada in 2020.

In addition, KO Média has named Samantha Puth – previously senior graphic designer – as artistic director for Elle Canada and Elle Québec.

“This new team is embarking on a colossal job, in the context of an unprecedented news media crisis, but I am proud to say that the KO Média team is always ready to face challenges and find innovative solutions with passion and creativity,” said Sophie Banford, publisher and general manager at KO Média.
