ZoomerMedia continues run of acquisitions, buying digital agency Titus/One

The deal allows ZoomerMedia to offer advertisers both traditional media and digital marketing expertise.

Following a spate of media acquisitions that have expanded ZoomerMedia’s reach over the last two years, the Toronto-based multimedia company headed by Moses Znaimer has added digital marketing agency Titus/One to its arsenal.

“Our acquisition of Titus/One will increase operational efficiency because Dustin [Titus, founder of Titus/One], and his team will now be able to give their full attention to Zoomer and its clients,” Omri Tintpulver, ZoomerMedia COO, tells MiC.

ZoomerMedia has been a client of Titus/One for seven years, working with ZoomerMedia brands to execute digital marketing campaigns. “Now, our advertisers will also benefit from a one-stop shop — bundled services that include both traditional media placement and digital marketing expertise,” Tintpulver says.

He adds that clients will now have access to “campaign planning, creative strategy, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and media planning and execution in one coherent package at advantageous prices.”

ZoomerMedia acquired Titus/One for an aggregate purchase price of $1.42 million, comprised of cash and a promissory note, making it a division of ZoomerMedia Limited. Titus will continue as president of Titus/One, but will also become ZoomerMedia’s chief digital officer.

This is the fourth acquisition deal for ZoomerMedia in recent years, of which include blogTO, DailyHive, Ludwig-Van.com, and The Peak.
