Bell Media dives further into addressable with new audio offering

Addressable Audio is now available for iHeartRadio, building on the company's September release of Addressable TV.

On the heels of last month’s introduction of Addressable TV, Bell Media has launched Addressable Audio.

Like its TV sibling, the audio format dynamically inserts digital audio ads into live linear programming and on-demand content. Bell Media’s audio products include iHeartRadio.ca and the iHeartRadio Canada app.

It’s available programmatically on Bell DSP and DV360, or directly through a Bell Media sales rep as a managed service, allowing brands to target listeners through AM/FM streaming, on-demand tracks, and podcasts.

The company says its first-party data solutions allow brands to customize the user experience and yield higher conversion rates using key insights such as demographic data, interests and location.

Advertisers can reach specific listeners on iHeartRadio Canada’s catalogue of 100 on-air radio stations and more than 5,000 podcasts. A menu of 70 Bell’s pre-built consumer segments is also available for advertisers to precisely target more than 1.4 million distinctive weekly listeners.
