IPG Mediabrands adds AI to its in-house mix

The company is continuing to build on its partnership with Google Cloud, this time with a global rollout of a new AI tool to streamline workflows.

IPG Mediabrands, the media holding company within Interpublic Group, has launched a new AI chat tool called My Bot to optimize its internal workplace productivity.

My Bot was built by Kinesso, the performance marketing unit within IPG Mediabrands, using generative AI technology and Google Cloud. According to IPG, My Bot was designed to safeguard intellectual property throughout the entire workstream.

The launch follows the recent announcement that IPG Mediabrands has partnered with Google Cloud to leverage its generative AI technology in product development. It is exclusive to IPG Mediabrands and has been rolled out to its agencies globally.

The new AI assistant is designed to augment skills for day-to-day tasks and create more efficiencies for managing multiple projects and workflows. Its capabilities include intuitive task management support, ranging from conducting project brainstorming to creating meeting agendas. As a built-in user-friendly tool, “My Bot makes space for human creative ideas and strategy creation to happen simultaneously and adapts to user needs with time,” according to the company. The announcement goes on to state that My Bot creates a “seamless and tailored experience, driven by factors such as greater agility, enhanced integration of business operations or more intelligent analysis.”

It is fluent in 38 languages.
