
Creative experience agency Thinkingbox has tapped Alex Panousis to take on the role of chief growth officer within the collective.
Panousis has been a force in Canadian media for 20 years and joins Thinkingbox after previously working as SVP of global clients for the business transformation company Valtech. Prior to that, she was CEO of Dentsu Media, Havas and Publicis’ Toronto office and has also held executive leadership roles at Leo Burnett, CBC and the National Post.
At Thinkingbox, she’ll be looking to refine the agency’s services and boost its industry presence.
“Alex’s ability to evolve each of her previous agencies to become stronger (in reputation and impact) is exactly what our company needs and I am confident in her ability to take us to the next level,” Thinkingbox CEO and founder Amir Sahba said in a press release.
Sahba added that the agency’s decision to add a chief growth officer to its team underlines its “commitment to both sustain and accelerate [Thinkingbox’s] growth trajectory.” The agency will call on Panousis to identify new opportunities for the agency, foster innovative approaches to the industry and ensure that Thinkingbox is ahead of the curve for the industry and prospective clients.
Thinkingbox is a creative experience agency that works in strategy, creative, experiential and digital service offerings. It has worked with brands such as Adobe, Riot Games, IKEA, Verizon, Starbucks and Chobani.
Panousis joined Valtech in May 2022, after leaving Dentsu Media Canada in late 2021.
