The
MediaTonik advertising network has added Hardbacon to the stable of premium content publishers it represents. MediaTonik will handle premium and programmatic sales for Hardbacon and expand the site’s reach with branding and content marketing campaigns for finance-based advertisers.

Hardbacon launched in 2017 as an app for retail investors and has been transformed into a consumer-facing budgeting app.

In addition to personal finance-related content, Hardbacon offers financial calculators, personal finance guides and financial product comparators. According to the company, it reaches more than three million Canadians on an annual basis through its app and website. It is currently working on creating an AI-based stocks rating system and adding credit scores.

Montreal-based MediaTonik represents more than 40 Canadian publishers in over 25 audience segments. Its network of publishers cover food, lifestyle, business, sports, technology, automotive and real estate categories, and the company says it reaches over eight million users in Quebec each month.
