Media planning and buying agency M&K Media is revamping its management team. The company has created a new position and promoted its associate partner Jill McDonald to fill the role.
McDonald will be the new president of the agency, working closely with co-CEOs Julie McIlroy and Julie King, who remain active in the business as advisors on strategy, creative direction and quality control. McIlroy and King will also continue to work with select clients.
McDonald joined M&K in 2018 as group account director, bringing over a decade of media planning and buying experience. Prior to M&K, she spent more than seven years at Starcom as global account director and director of strategy.
Looking ahead, McDonald says M&K’s objective is to build stronger relationships with its employees, partners and clients. “We will continue to invest in people… to build and maintain long-standing relationships that span over a number of years, and in some cases decades,” she says. McDonald also plans to maintain M&K’s focus on service, which she describes as the “core pillar of the business.”
M&K Media has been active for 23 years. Among its current partners are Context Creative, The Mars Agency, Harbinger Ideas, The Local Collective and Zulu Alpha Kilo.
