McDonald’s remained at the top of the AdEase TV charts for the week of Jan. 8 to 14, according to the monitoring company’s most recent report.

The QSR placed first in all markets except Montreal, with 3,715 combined occurrences. It returned to the top spot the previous week, following a short gap during the last week of December.

In Montreal, Crave TV took first place. The streaming service also ranked third in Toronto and sixth in Vancouver. Nationally, it continues to dominate the market with 3,210 occurrences, 617 fewer than the week prior.

Among the week’s biggest movers were Wendy’s Restaurant, which climbed 206 places to finish fourth in Vancouver, and Belairdirect Insurance, which rose 413 spots to take fifth place in Montreal.

In terms of categories, yogurt and yogurt drinks entered the top 10 after moving up 197 and 194 places to ninth in Vancouver and Calgary, respectively. The automotive corporate category also rose significantly in the rankings. It jumped 118 places in Montreal, 111 in Calgary and 152 in Toronto.
