
Wavemaker, part of GroupM, WPP’s global media investment management company, is announcing two new senior executive hires: Sabrina Ricci (pictured, left) as vice president of operations and managing director, and Sebastien Royer (pictured, right) as managing director at the Montreal office.
Ricci brings 18 years of experience in the industry, working with traditional and digital media. Her focus will be on optimizing collaboration and growth with clients, with a particular emphasis on the success of Wavemaker’s commercial modeling and its people, fostering synergies across teams.
For his part, Royer has been at GroupM for over four years, and in the industry for 12. Some of his previous clients include Rogers (B2C and B2B), General Mills, Cirque du Soleil (B2C and B2B), Telus (B2C andB2B), General Motors, Énergir (B2B), Loto-QC, LASIK MD. As Managing Director, Royer will be responsible for the holistic leadership of all WM Montreal-based clients (excluding L’Oréal), delivering in all aspects including strategic planning, execution, and partnership.
