Media Experts selected as Honda Canada media AOR

The agency will handle all media channels for the Honda and Acura brands, and dealer activity.

Media Experts has been named the media agency of record for Honda Canada Inc., a subsidiary of auto manufacturer Honda Motor Company. Media Experts passion and knowledge of the sector was a huge factor in landing the agency the new business. In addition, Media Experts offered Honda coast to coast coverage – with boots on the ground from Vancouver to Montreal and deep-regional market knowledge and understanding of Canada’s unique and nuanced culture. The agency’s tools and processes such as HVAs, dashboards, audience tools and a detailed media planning process were also a consideration.

Media Experts will lead all media planning and buying for the Honda and Acura brands as week as the Honda Dealer Advertising Association (HDAA) in Ontario, British Columbia, and the Prairies, as well as planning and digital buying for the HDAA in Quebec.

New campaigns for Honda Canada are scheduled to coincide with the start of Q2.  Media Experts is working collaboratively with Dentsu One for Honda brands and Acura, Level 11 in Central Canada, Prairies and Western Canada, and Gendron in Eastern Canada.

The account was previously held by PHD, with a review taking place in late 2023. Media Experts has experience in the automotive category as it was the media AOR for BMW and Mini from 2009 to 2024.
