People Moves: Havas ups Noah Vardon and Amanda Dyke

The media division of the marketing and communications group is boosting its leadership team with new positions.

Havas Media Network (HMN) has selected Noah Vardon (pictured), president of HMN Canada, and Amanda Dyke, Executive VP of client lead, to fill two newly created positions.

HMN has named Vardon as chief client officer, North America. In his new role, Vardon will be responsible for driving the client function in the U.S. and Canada. “This role is an evolution of our existing client team structure – adding an emphasis on the experience of client partnership and what is needed today from the businesses we work with. I will lead both client teams in U.S. and Canada, acting as a key business partner to our senior clients across both markets,” Vardon says. In this expanded role, he will continue to oversee HMN Canada and data analytics agency Noise Digital, “with some exciting changes planned for our leadership team to support my expanded remit.”

As president of HMN Canada, Vardon established a strong organizational culture and helped grow the business by adding new clients such as Sun Life, Destination Vancouver and The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, according to the company. Prior to Havas, he was VP of national media lead at The Greenhouse, Cossette’s team that handles creative, strategy, digital, CRM and media for Telus. Vardon has also worked in other agencies, including Initiative and EssenceMediacom. He has worked with clients such as BMW, Bayer Consumer Care, Carlsberg, CBC, Royal Bank of Canada and Destination Canada.

Dyke, meanwhile, has been appointed managing partner, marketing and communications. She will be responsible for driving HMN’s positioning and voice in North America through a greater understanding of how the company’s products deliver meaningful results for current and prospective customers. Dyke joined HMN in 2022 as head of content and partnerships of client lead and previously, served as senior VP of strategy and partnerships at Publicis, where she worked at Verizon. She was also associate director of partnerships at Spark Foundry, where she worked at P&G.

Both Vardon and Dyke will report to Greg James, Havas Media Network chief executive officer, North America. According to James, both roles were created to drive HMN’s customer experience and brand strategy expertise. “In today’s complex media landscape, it is imperative to provide our clients with a meaningful experience that drives business growth, and Noah and Amanda will play an integral role in driving best-in-class client leadership and defining and communicating Havas’ unique differentiators in the marketplace.”
