Dentsu

Dentsu has appointed its senior director of partnerships Krista Furlano (picured) as VP of partnerships and media compliance, a new role that has been created to boost synergy and innovation throughout the organization, the company says.

In her new role, Furlano will lead strategic partnerships that support the business objectives of Dentsu clients across Carat, DX and iProspect. She will be responsible for developing strong partner relationships that drive and deliver value to clients and agencies. Furlano will also implement processes to manage and monitor client investment across Dentsu. She will report to Nicole Brown, president of Amplifi.

“I will focus on ensuring dentsu teams are working with partners in the Canadian media landscape that adhere to our strict guidelines on transparency, brand safety, performance and innovation to ensure client success,” she says.

Furlano joined Dentsu in 2018 as director of digital investment. Previously, she worked as an associate director of digital at UM Worldwide agency and as senior manager at London’s Mindshare. Furlano was also a digital strategist at Carat Interactive from 2010 to 2012, where she was responsible for developing digital media strategies and campaigns for numerous customers, as well as managing day-to-day client relationships.

Cristina Commisso, senior account director of partner management at Ideon Media, has been promoted to VP of business development.

Commisso will be in charge of managing new and current media partnerships that will help Ideon Media expand its Canadian portfolio with market-leading advertising solutions, according to the company. She started as a digital strategist and worked her way up to account director of partner management, a position she held for a year before becoming senior account director of partner management. She worked as a media strategist at Starcom for more than a year before joining Ideon.

Toronto-based Ideon has also elevated its senior account director and marketing lead Isabelle Davidian. As VP of strategic accounts, Davidian’s primary duties include leading Ideon’s relationship with agency holding companies and developing and implementing programs that bring value and growth to strategic accounts. Both Davidian and Commisso will report to Ideon CRO, RJ Pauloski.
