People Moves: Promotions abound at Horizon, OMD, and Environics Analytics

Teresa Sinopoli moves into the role of chief product officer of the marketing services company.

Horizon Media

Horizon Media Canada has promoted Karrie Werny (pictured), who previously served as director, business solutions, to vice president, business solutions. Werny will continue to work out of Alberta in order to facilitate the agency’s expansion into Western Canada. Werny brings 20 years of varied media experience to the role. Her portfolio has spanned sectors including consumer goods, beauty, automotive, financial services, agriculture, healthcare, and lottery.

“Western Canada is an exciting and dynamic market with immense growth potential,” said Werny. “I’m thrilled to continue expanding Horizon Media’s presence in the region and work closely with our clients to develop innovative, localized strategies that meet their unique needs. I’m eager to further support our talented teams and strengthen our agency’s relationships in this important market.”

OMD Canada

Media agency OMD has made three appointments after boosting its leadership team in March.

Meghna Dhall has been upped to senior strategist, after more than a year as a creative asset management specialist. In that role, she managed film, home entertainment, and gaming campaigns and oversaw the production, approval, and delivery of creative assets for digital, print, and OOH channels.

OMD has also added Caitlin Sun to its team as senior strategist. Sun previously worked as intermediate media planner and buyer at Wasserman, where she focused on data analysis, social media management, budget management, strategy implementation and paid media strategy. And Valentina Jaramillo has been appointed as media strategist, having worked as digital marketing coordinator at BlueRush, which offers video and digital solutions for brands.

Environics Analytics

Marketing services company Environics Analytics (EA) has promoted Teresa Sinopoli to the position of chief product officer.

In her new role, Sinopoli will oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring that products meet market demands and customer needs. She will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery. Additionally, Sinopoli will conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation.

Previously, Sinopoli worked as EA’s senior VP of product management and platform innovation, overseeing several product lines throughout their life-cycles and leading the development of software-based solutions and automated research packages. She joined EA in 2005 as director of client services and later became VP of product management.

With more than 20 years of marketing analytics experience, Teresa has been key in leading the development of products from ideation through execution and implementation at EA, the company said. As product manager, for example, she spearheaded the creation of the marketing analytics platform Envision and is currently driving the progress of Envision 2.0, according to EA.

The company announces the promotion after partnering with the LiveRamp platform to help Canadian businesses use data more effectively and securely for marketing purposes. The partnership combines LiveRamp’s technology with EA’s existing data capabilities.
