Popular podcast “Call Her Daddy” moves to SiriusXM

The audio company also gains exclusive advertising sales rights to Unwell Network’s roster of pods.

SiriusXM has signed an exclusive, multi-year agreement with popular podcaster Alex Cooper, host and executive producer of Call Her Daddy, and one of the founders of Unwell Network LLC, upon which her podcast resides. Previously, Call Her Daddy was a Spotify exclusive.

Part of the deal, which is reportedly worth $125 million over three years, includes a commitment to develop exclusive content for SiriusXM, which is expected to begin rolling out in 2025. This commitment extends beyond Cooper’s podcast to Unwell’s entire roster.

“Unwell Network’s initial talent signings include top creators and influencers who will work with Cooper and the Unwell team to develop a variety of multiplatform concepts and projects,” the company said in a statement.

According to SiriusXM, Call Her Daddy consistently ranks as one of the most-listened-to podcasts worldwide.

Along with developing exclusive content, the deal also grants SiriusXM Media, the company’s advertising division, exclusive global ad sales rights to the video and audio editions of Call Her Daddy, and Unwell’s complete slate of current and future shows.

“The SiriusXM Podcast Network reaches one in two podcast listeners in the U.S. each month,” the company said.  “With the addition of these Unwell Network podcasts, it will be easier than ever for advertisers to tap into the power of podcasting at scale with ease.”
