eBay moves global media business to iProspect

The account, which was previously with EssenceMediacom, is now being handled by the Dentsu agency.

Following an extensive six-month global review process, eBay has named iProspect, a Dentsu company, to be its global media agency. The business, previously held by EssenceMediacom, will now be handled by the Canadian office of iProspect in this country.

“In support of our long-term growth goals, eBay’s marketing organization has embarked on a global transformation – moving from a decentralized market-based model to a more centralized model that provides global efficiencies,” said eBay in a statement.

“To support this evolution, we were looking for a media agency partner who can help us identify synergies and scale globally while staying true to the unique needs of our customers within each market. [iProspect’s] support will be critical as we focus on full-funnel campaigns that are integrated throughout the entire buying and selling journey.”
