PHD taps UM’s Erica Kokiw as its new president

The exec takes over from Caroline Moul, who was named president of Creo Canada this week.

Omnicom Media Group Canada (OMG) has named former UM Canada’s VP of digital Erica Kokiw (pictured) as president of PHD Canada.

The appointment comes after Caroline Moul was promoted to president of Creo Canada, OMG’s influencer marketing brand, after having spent the last six-and-a-half years as PHD’s president.

Kokiw’s new role will entail introducing new perspectives, vision and strategy to drive client growth for the agency. She will be headquartered in Toronto and report to OMG Canada CEO Cam Reston.

Kokiw worked for more than seven years at UM, where she defined and implemented the digital vision across the company’s product suite, while driving new business efforts across Canada. Throughout her 23-year career, she has held senior positions at several media agencies in Europe, Australia, and Canada. Prior to UM, Kokiw served as national head of digital at Australia-based Dentsu Aegis Network and Mindshare.
