Blue Ant makes changes to its Media Pulse team

The company has promoted the VP of partnerships, as well as hired two new executives.

Blue Ant Media has promoted Deborah Gurofsky (pictured) to the position of senior VP and managing director of Media Pulse, a Blue Ant-owned connected TV marketplace that sources and curates premium inventory for brands and offers revenue opportunities for media owners and publishers.

In her new role, Gurofsky will be responsible for overseeing Media Pulse’s operations, with increased responsibilities for monetizing its connected TV inventory, excluding direct platform sales.

She will also be in charge of driving business growth and innovation, and will supervise the development of CTV campaigns and customized solutions for Media Pulse’s advertising clients.

Gurofsky previously served as VP of partnerships at Media Pulse. Prior to this, she worked at Dentsu’s The Story Lab, where she managed integrated media and branded content for General Motors and Procter & Gamble.

Blue Ant is also expanding the Media Pulse team with the addition of two senior roles. Asha Chohan, who will be based in Toronto, is named account director, while Taylor Farmer, based out of the U.S., joins as director of programmatic revenue and operations. Both will report directly to Gurofsky.

The company is making these appointments after Media Pulse signed a partnership with Anzu, a global in-game advertising platform, in December last year. Under the deal, Media Pulse exclusively represents all of Anzu’s in-game inventory for Canada, covering popular gaming titles across platforms.
