Top Chef Canada reveals a bevvy of new sponsors

When Top Chef Canada returns for its 11th season on October 14, it will be with a record number of sponsors, more than half of which are new. These sponsors will be run in-show integrations, customized challenges and provide prizes for each episode.

This year, the cooking competition show will also give away its largest prize to date: $100,000 cash, a brand-new suite of KitchenAid appliances, a vacation worth $10,000 from Vrbo, a 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, $10,000 courtesy of Tim Hortons, and one year’s worth of groceries delivered with DoorDash.

KitchenAid will also return as the official appliance sponsor, outfitting the show’s kitchen with big and small appliances, and will show up on an elimination challenge.

Alfa Romeo will sponsor two social videos featuring the cast and the official wine sponsor of the competition will be Camp Viejo, which returns to the show to provide a $5,000 prize in the first and last Elimination Challenge and sponsor a challenge in the finale.

As another returning sponsor, DoorDash will be prominently displayed on the show’s clock, while also sponsoring a street food challenge, the winner of which will walk away with $5,000.

Tim Hortons, Think Turkey, and Windsor Salt will each sponsor challenges, and the latter will sponsor a kitchen hack video for social. Similarly, Belair Direct will produce a video with tips and tricks for chefs following along at home. And finally, the show’s pantry will be stocked with a branded display of Premium Barilla Pasta, which will also sponsor one of the many challenges.

Top Chef Canada will air on the Food Network and stream on StackTV.

CTV’s The Amazing Race Canada, which just completed its tenth season, has been renewed for the 2024/2025 season.

The renewal isn’t surprising. According to CTV, the competition show averaged 1.3 million viewers and remains the most popular summer series for adults age 25 to 55.

As with previous seasons, integrated brand partnership opportunities, including across video, digital, social, radio, and OOH platforms, will be available.
