Last week, SiriusXM Media Canada launched with it’s first exclusive offering: the SiriusXM Podcast Network, which is home to popular podcasts like Smartless (with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes) and Call Her Daddy.
The new expansion of SiriusXM’s advertising division will provide Canadian marketers and advertisers exclusive access to the platforms, programs and publishers under the SiriusXM umbrella, paired with an end-to-end tech stack from AdsWizz, the technology engine powering the monetization of audio content worldwide and a subsidiary of SiriusXM.
Along with the marquee podcasts, SiriusXM Media Canada will also represent thousands of the additional podcasts through AdsWizz’s Podcast Marketplace, which features access to other premium pod networks like Barstool Sports and The New York Times.
Audio advertising sales veteran Jon Hales has been tapped to lead SiriusXM Media Canada’s sales team from SiriusXM’s office in Toronto.
