The latest AdEase report showed that The Brick Warehouse dominated the TV market during the week of Oct. 21 to 27.

The Brick notched up 2,383 combined occurrences, ranking first in Calgary, fourth in Toronto, fifth in Vancouver, and sixth in Montreal. The retailer increased its spend compared to the previous TV buying week. Tim Hortons came next with 2,099 combined appearances, ranking in all markets. The QSR was the most active advertiser the prior week, when it made 2,302 occurrences.

The third most active marketer was RBC Financial Group, with 1,918 occurrences, followed by Leon’s Furniture (1,810) and Toyota dealers (1,345). All three advertisers increased their buying over the previous week. Leon’s Furniture was also one of the advertisers that rose the most on the AdEase list, climbing 421 positions in Vancouver and 355 in Calgary.

On the category side, the groups that rose the most were dine-in restaurants and bars, which rose 38 positions in Montreal; food delivery services, which moved up 10 positions in Toronto; and furniture stores, which finished second in Vancouver.
