TVA Sports announces new and returning sponsors for hockey season

Uber Eats, Hyundai, TD Bank, Desjardins Entreprises and Intuit QuickBooks join as partners.

The new hockey season on French-language specialty channel TVA Sports will feature new partnerships and the return of former sponsors.

Uber Eats joins as a new title sponsor of all hockey properties, including the National Hockey League (NHL), Montreal Canadiens and playoff games. The brand will appear at the beginning of each broadcast and will be integrated into all hockey-related communications on TVA Sports.

Hyundai is returning this year to sponsor the third period and has expanded its support to include NHL and playoff games. TVA Sports has also signed TD Bank as a second period sponsor of Canadiens games, NHL games and playoff coverage. Finally, Desjardins Entreprises and Intuit QuickBooks will sponsor the first period during different parts of the season.

These brands join TVA Sports’ current list of hockey broadcast sponsors, which includes Harvey’s, Loto-Québec, Sonnet Insurance, Tanguay, and Vidéotron.

TVA Sports will broadcast 22 Montreal Canadiens games, 22 Ottawa Senators games and more than 30 Toronto Maple Leafs games. In addition, TVA Sports Direct subscribers will be able to watch an additional 20 exclusive games. In total, more than 240 games will be broadcast to take fans all the way to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

According to TVA Sports, the channel has a cumulative reach of 3.9 million viewers during regular season games.
