Robin LeGassicke has been bumped up from managing director, digital to chief transformation officer for Cairns Oneil. She has been with the agency for almost six years, and previously held senior roles at Sonnet Insurance, Initiative, Maxus, UM Canada, Cossette Media and CBC.
In her new role at Cairns Oneil, LeGassicke will lead the agency’s specialty data, programmatic and search teams while collaborating with partners in media and technology to identify new opportunities for the agency and its clients.
Devon MacDonald, president of Cairns Oneil, says LeGassicke has been the cornerstone of the agency’s growth and expanding digital practice. “Robin has such a strong vision for the potential of media that’s rooted in an incredible breadth of experience. Her ability to see the potential for our clients and the industry through the application of media and technology is genuinely unmatched.”
In leading digital at the agency as managing director, LeGassicke introduced new platforms to its teams and led new business efforts for clients including Honda Powersports, Royal Ontario Museum and SickKids Foundation in the past year alone. She also helped create new products like NOVA, Cairns Oneil’s AI content tool, and is a media thought leader on topics like transparency.
LeGassicke was recently recognized by IAB Canada as one of their Digital Citizens of the Year for her contributions to the industry.
