Leon’s Furniture dominated the TV market during the week of Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, according to the latest AdEsase report.

The retailer notched up 3,919 combined occurrences, topping all markets except Montreal. It increased its spend compared to the previous TV buying week, when it made 2,107 total occurrences.

Tim Hortons ranked as the second most active advertiser, with 2,732 instances, up 1,632 from the prior week. McDonald’s and Crave TV trailed with 2,040 and 1,746 occurrences, respectively. Both the QSR and the streamer decreased their purchase from last week.

Tim Hortons was also one of the advertisers that moved the most on the list in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto, rising 390, 380 and 317 spots, respectively. Meanwhile, in Montreal, Apple climbed 16 positions to eighth, becoming the advertiser that advanced the most in the city’s ranking.

Nationally in the specialty category, first place went to Tim Hortons (3,054 occurrences), followed by Sleep Country (3,000) and Crave TV (2,493).
