CIBC is expanding its presence at the Toronto Pearson Airport, creating new opportunities for the bank to reach the nearly 50 million travellers who pass through it every year.
As part of the expanded partnership, CIBC will have increased visibility throughout the airport as the brand becomes the sponsor of Toronto Pearson’s passenger boarding bridges. The bank’s logo and “Moments of Ambition” marketing campaign will now be prominently featured on both the exterior and interior of the bridges.
The bank will also become the sponsor of Toronto Pearson’s Wi-Fi program, which provides travellers with access to free Wi-Fi throughout the airport. CIBC will also continue to be a sponsor of the CIBC baggage cart program, as well as provide foreign exchange, credit card and digital banking services as the exclusive financial partner of Toronto Pearson.
CIBC will add two new agile banking centres – essentially small banks – the first will be stationed in Terminal 1 for last minute currency exchanges and other banking needs, and the second will be placed just steps outside of the international arrival doors. “By meeting newcomers at their point of arrival, CIBC is taking banking to individuals and families, helping to ease their transition during what can be an overwhelming time,” the company said.
