Pinterest has hired a new VP of global agency sales, hiring Soniya Monga from TikTok, where she was head of U.S. agency partnerships.
Monga was also previously a global agency partnerships leader at Snap and has worked on the global ads business at companies like Microsoft and LinkedIn.
In her new role, Monga will lead Pinterest’s relationships with advertising agencies across the globe by working with agency decision-makers, developing strategic partnerships, and maximizing the adoption of Pinterest’s full funnel suite of ad products. She will report to Bill Watkins, Pinterest’s CRO.
Monga starts her new role on January 6 and will be with the Pinterest team in Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show, where the platform will have a significant presence taking over the Blue Ribbon Brasserie.
Pinterest captured total revenue of $898 million USD in Q3 2024, an 18% increase year-over-year, primarily driven by retail and lower-funnel ad tools. Monthly active users (MAUs) reached a record of 537 million, growing across all reported regions.
