Magnite names a new VP and managing director

In her new role, Cassidy Coles will look to increase adoption of the company's product suite.

Supply-side platform Magnite has promoted Cassidy Coles (pictured) to VP and managing director in Canada.

Coles will oversee Magnite’s business in the country, helping publishers and broadcasters navigate the digital media ecosystem and driving the adoption of the company’s product suite. She will also collaborate with demand-side partners, including DSPs and strategic suppliers. She will continue to report to Damien Véran, who was also recently promoted to group SVP, international revenue, and now oversees Magnite’s international teams across Canada, EMEA, JAPAC and LATAM.

Coles joined Magnite in 2020, and since 2022 has served as senior director of platform solutions. In that role, she was instrumental in Magnite’s overall strategy, partnership activations, and education for leading media partners in Canada, encompassing streaming TV, web and app environments, according to the company. Previously, she was director of publisher accounts at Telaria, a premium video ad management software platform, which merged with Rubicon Project in 2020 to bring Magnite to life. Before that, Coles held the same position at SlimCut, which specializes in managing advertising, specifically out-stream video ads, for premium publishers.

The promotion comes after Magnite announced on Wednesday that it had been selected as a global programmatic provider for FIFA+. Under the partnership, the company will drive video and display advertising on FIFA+ in Canada, the U.S., EMEA, LATAM and APAC. Magnite works with a variety of media owners to monetize their content across screens and formats, including CTV, online video, display and audio.
