The most recent AdEase data for Jan 6 to 12 shows that The Brick Warehouse remained the leading TV advertiser.

Over the week, the retailer scored 3,011 combined occurrences, landing first in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto while coming in fourth in Montreal. It ranked top nationally in the specialty category, followed by Crave TV. With 3,976 occurrences, The Brick also held the top spot during the previous TV buying week.

Tim Hortons was the second most active advertiser, with 1,506 total instances, an increase from the previous TV buying week when it did not appear on the AdEase list. A&W Restaurant was third, with 1,331 occurrences, followed by Subaru dealers (1,260 occurrences), Petsmart Canada (1,222 occurrences) and Jeep dealers (1,199 occurrences). Compared to the week before, A&W decreased its purchase, while Subaru, Petsmart, and Jeep increased their spend.

Tim Hortons was also the advertiser that moved up the most on the Vancouver and Toronto ranking, rising 70 and 95 positions, respectively. Meanwhile, Wendy’s Restaurant was the top mover in Calgary (230 places), and in Montreal, the insurance and financial services brand Beneva rose significantly (272 spots).

The highest spending groups were QSRs, furniture stores, online travel agency and TV and streaming services.
