AdAdapted has expanded its partnership with Flipp and will now work with Canadian CPG clients who are looking to reach shoppers via the weekly digital flyer platform’s app and desktop version.
Since 2022, AdAdapted has been the exclusive partner for Flipp display ad inventory in the U.S. That partnership has enabled CPG brands to reach shoppers through ads on the Flipp app. Last year, the partners also added push notifications, allowing brands to further interact with shoppers at key moments in their purchase journey.
Based on strong results from the initial partnership, the companies said they will now introduce app and desktop web inventory in Canada for AdAdapted clients. Flipp’s ad network, which spans both the U.S. and Canada, reaches more than 100 million shoppers.
The extension of the agreement follows Flipp’s partnership with Metroland last year. Under that agreement, Metroland began publishing commercial material and interactive ads promoting savings from Flipp partner brands (such as Coca-Cola, P&G, Danone, and Keurig) in its newsletters and on Save.ca, the publisher’s shopper platform. The partnership followed Metroland’s announcement that it would begin operating under a new digital-only business model, ending its physical flyers.
