According to the most recent AdEase data, Crave TV surpassed The Brick as the most active TV advertiser during the week of Jan 13 to 19.

With 2,028 combined occurrences, the streamer landed first in Montreal and second in Toronto. Montreal was the market where it made the most occurrences (1,467). The advertiser, however, reduced its spend compared to the previous TV buying week, when it reported 2,495 total instances.

Tim Hortons ranked as the second most active advertiser, with 1,805 occurrences, followed by McDonald’s (1,763 occurrences), Doordash (1,359 occurrences) and A&W Restaurant (1,150 occurrences). Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, and Doordash increased their buy since last week, while A&W saw fewer occurrences.

Lysol was the advertiser that moved the most in the Vancouver and Toronto rankings (33 and 15 positions respectively), while Calgary Health Trust was the biggest mover in Calgary. Structube, meanwhile, climbed 290 positions in Montreal and finished eighth on the city’s list.

The highest spending groups for the week were QSRs, TV and streaming services, furniture stores, food delivery services, and online travel agency.
