COMMB now measures all major elevator networks

Vertical Impression is the latest elevator network to become a COMMB member.

The Canadian Out-of-Home Marketing and Measurement Bureau (COMMB) now measures all major residential and commercial elevator networks in the Canadian OOH industry with the addition of its newest member, Vertical Impression. The OOH media owner has a network of 2,221 screens in residential and commercial buildings. With strategic screen placement and advanced analytics, Vertical Impression provides advertisers with the ability to reach audiences where they live, work and spend.

The other residential and commercial elevator networks that are currently COMMB measured and verified also include Pattison, Captivate, UB Media and IHN Media.

Adam Butterworth, COMMB’s interim president says that having all major elevator networks as members is a significant milestone. “At COMMB, we are continuously striving to enhance and expand our measurement and methodology. It’s with pride that we announce that we have reached a new milestone; all prominent residential and commercial elevator networks within the Canadian OOH sector are now COMMB measured, and all the associated media owners within this sector are COMMB members. This milestone reflects the value place-based OOH companies see in COMMB and highlights our ongoing advancements in measurement and methodology.”

According to COMMB, indoor advertising circulations are calculated as the number of people aged 18+ with a reasonable opportunity to see an advertising face over a 7-day period. COMMB’s methodology includes the use of statistically-reliable expansion factors to convert raw pedestrian counts to reliable one-week circulations.
