According to the most recent AdEase data, Spence Diamonds remained the most active radio advertiser from Feb 10 to 16. The jeweler has now led the AdEase Radio charts for four weeks in a row.

With 6,607 combined occurrences, Spence landed first in Vancouver, Edmonton, Ottawa and Toronto, while coming in third in Calgary. Compared to the previous radio buying week, the retailer recorded more occurrences (5,717 in total).

Desjardins Group was the second-most active advertiser, with 4,189 instances, 28 fewer than the previous week. Meanwhile, the Government of Quebec upped their purchase (4,041 occurrences), making it the third most active advertiser, ahead of Tim Hortons (3,730 occurrences) and BCE (3,665 occurrences). Tim Hortons had fewer occurrences than the week before, while BCE increased its purchase.

Wealthsimple Financial (3,132 occurrences), Crave TV (2,904 occurrences), Save-On-Foods (2,468 occurrences) and Government Of Alberta (2,304 occurrences) were also prominent in the ranking. The advertisers that climbed up the most were Business Development Bank Of Canada (311 positions in Vancouver) and Direct Energy (54 spots in Edmonton).

Category-wise, the top spending groups were dine-in restaurants and bars, jewelry stores, grocery stores and supermarkets, TV and streaming services, and QSRs.
